Roughstock completed a scoping study for a major international mining company in Colorado. Exploration drilling carried out beneath and adjacent to an existing and operational open pit mine had indicated underground mining targets which were delineated by a third party.
SUMMARY
Underground exploration development was designed initially to provide exploration drilling to upgrade the resource category of the resource Conceptual production designs, which included mine infrastructure, ventilation and ore and waste pass systems were designed in Vulcan, then scheduled and sequenced using in-house scheduling software. Detailed studies were also carried out on the suggested long-hole stoping method. The studies also encompassed designs of satellite deposits around the main deposit.
